Located a short stroll away from Manor House tube station is a brunch spot named DoBar. It was finally time for a long overdue Brunch date with me and my friend, therefore we decided DoBar would be the perfect fit.

DoBar is a very highly rated restaurant on both Tripadvisor and Google and had been recommended to me several times, so this Saturday morning I was excited to feast! With an inviting exterior and cozy interior we made our way into the venue. We were welcomed kindly by the staff and were seated promptly. Arriving just after 9 a.m (the opening time) we were the only two people at the venue, however the customers started trickling in and it soon started to fill. The restaurant isn’t massive so we suggest to get here early if you want to cop a seat. However the breakfast menu is available from 9-3 so there is plenty of time to get a good brunch even into the afternoon.

To accompany your brunch there is a wide variety of both cold and hot drinks available. For cold drinks you can choose different soft drinks including freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh smoothies which were extremely tempting, but I was in the mood for a hot drink to compliment my meal. There are several coffees and teas to choose from and I decided to go for a Mocha. A Mocha is my go to coffee, as I love the mix of chocolate and coffee together. The Mocha was elegantly presented and tasted lovely, the froth was velvety and the coffee was relatively strong.

With quite an expansive selection of breakfast/brunch items it was a hard decision for me to decide what to consume! The mains were split up into 5 main sections. Firstly there was the “ On Sourdough” section which is a choice of many different breakfast items such as Scrambled Eggs, Avocado, Cheeses etc. on their Sourdough. Secondly was their “All Day Fry Ups” which speak for themselves, there were also vegetarian and vegan options on offer and the chance to switch the meat Fry Ups to Halal versions if required. The third section was the “Brunch” section which included a number of different brunch faves such as Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine and even some Mediterranean inspired brunch dishes. The penultimate section was their “Signatures” section where there was an assorted array of different pancakes and the choice of French Toast. Furthermore this section claims to be perfect for Instagram for any one wanting a food picture for the ‘gram :’). The final section was the “Salad” section with three different salads to choose from if you are feeling to for for a healthier choice one day. In the end I had to go for one of the Brunch choices, I decided on the “Land & Sea” which included Smoked Salmon, Avocado, Scrambled Eggs, Grilled Cherry Tomatoes, Portobello Mushroom and Homemade Sourdough. This turned out to be an magnificent selection as the food complimented each other superbly and was delightfully presented. The meal went down a treat and definitely a selection I recommend. It was all cooked perfectly and it was a fabulous start to the day.
