Burgers and Lobsters? Sounds like a perfect combination so this was a restaurant I had to try. Located in the heart of London, just off China Town lies one of 6 of Burger & Lobster’s London branches. This renowned restaurant has branches worldwide in England, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Kuwait, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia and this was my first time tasting the famous food!

We decided to book a table for a Sunday lunch time, as soon as we entered we were greeted promptly and shown to your seats quickly. The interior looked simple yet classy, with a beautiful bar near the front. The staff were friendly and handed us our menus, and brought us some chilled tap water whilst we decided what to eat.
As we were dining at a relatively boujie venue, we decided to go for a boujie drink. The menu came with a varied selection of drinks (including alcoholic :P) an we had to go for one of the cocktails. After a short amount of deliberation we decided to go for the Lucky Cat Cocktail which is a sharing pitcher. The cocktail contained Absolut Vodka, Jasmine, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Lime, Five Spice, Syrup and finally topped with some Bubbly. The Cocktail was served in a beautiful Lucky Cat container which convinced us to purchase it. When the drink came to us it came steaming at us which was unexpected but a beautiful aesthetic nonetheless! The Cocktail didn’t come cheap at the cost of £25 but it was a beautifully presented drink with a tasty flavour.
As a foodie who like to try as many different foods as possible one of the combos was a great shout for me. My partner and I ended up deciding to go for the Sharing Combo for Two. This combo included a 1lb Lobster, a 8oz Original Burger, a Original Lobster Roll, Lemon & Garlic Butter and a choice of four of their side dishes. The sides we opted for were the Salad, the Broccoli Tender Stems, the Chips and the Mushrooms. The platter was massive, definitely enough to fill us both up. Both Burger and Lobster was tasty and my lobster craving was satisfied. Our favourite part of the main was definitely the Lobster Roll though, a perfectly baked roll filled with such tasty Lobster, we wish we had more! The Platter was quite expensive though, coming to £70 but with a decent amount of Lobster and some tasty dishes it was definitely worth it.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Burger & Lobster, we would love to visit again. The food was tasty, not one bad thing was eaten. Burgers and Lobsters are not ca combination we usually consume, yet it should be as the food was delicious. The service was fast and efficient, and the design of the venue was classy. We would love to visit the other Burger & Lobster venues next time, and we are lucky as there are 6 in London :)!
